My Story:
This past week I attended a beginning marketing class given by Robert Middleton. A few years ago, I read his manual from cover to cover. I attended to thank him personally for suggesting I write a book.

When I spoke in Phoenix, a woman in the audience suggested I attend that particular workshop. The other reasons for attending the workshop were to meet new people and learn more about this new group.

Although much of the material was familiar, sitting quietly in the chair, I mentally matched where I am with my processes with what Middleton was saying. I took notes for my next steps this summer.

To my delight, I also made several new acquaintances leading to potential new groups, speaking opportunities and business down the road. Yes, the time, the drive, were all well-worthwhile.
